First solo hike.

Post by youonlywish on Sat Sep 10, 2011 8:47 pm

Going on my first solo hike tomorrow morning in years. Only since I was a little kid, I had been out and about on my own a few times.

Going on a very well known trail - multiple people will know my destination, route and check-in times.

I'm going to go off-trail to practise some bushcraft as well.

Can't wait.

If it's a provincial park keep in mind that cutting down trees is heavily frowned upon (I think they can fine you?).
