So here's what happened...

My wife - doing dishes - had a glass slip out of her hand and shatter on the floor. Not sure how, but a good chunk managed to get into her toe. A good sized cut and a beckoning to her husband and there I was, looking through our household first aid kit.

I found that the kit was disorganized after a few months of my not taking regular inventory and performing a scheduled re-pack.

We got her foot all bandaged up and I took the time to repack the kit. It's a good thing too - I was able to inventory our kit and take a good look at some things I need to buy. A good scare to put into action my training and the tools available to me.

Thankfully it was something minor and the state of disorganization didn't prevent you from cleaning and bandaging her.
